MID-PENINSULA FLOORING & DESIGN CENTER In 1977, Custom Floor Designs, Inc., a boutique floor covering show room was established to meet the discerning flooring tastes of the San Francisco Bay Area home owners and interior decorators. Custom Floor Designs, Inc., was the predecessor to Mid-Peninsula Flooring which was acquired by Makamechi Holdings Corporation. The acquisition was completed in 2005 and both family members and employees remained to support the company’s growth upon consummation of the deal. We provide an unsurpassed floor covering destination point to both interior decorators, property managers and bay area homeowners with an incredible array of floor covering choices. We operate a 20,000 sq ft super show room located at 391 Foster City Boulevard in Foster City, California staffed by knowledgeable and experienced staff. We offer a referral net work of ASID licensed interior designers to customers who need additional design inspiration and consultation. We also have in-house installers and use the services of licensed and bonded sub-contractors when necessary. As a result, we offer both manufacturer material warranty and labor. Our wide, clean and uncluttered aisles along with our free automobile parking spaces provide an exhilarating shopping experience to our customers. Mohawk Industries, Inc., one of the nation’s floor covering manufacturers and distributors has selected our super store as its premier Floorscapes super store in the market area between San Francisco & San Jose. This is both an honor and a privilege as the relationship has given us an enormous access to the marketing and distribution prowess of the nation’s floor covering giant along with its aligned vendor network. We have unique advantages as a Floorscapes store because we can offer additional warrantees on Mohawk’s residential flooring products. This is an affirmation of the quality of our flooring products. If you are in the market for new floors, it is extremely important to find out from your flooring contractor how the old flooring material is disposed. We collect and ship all old flooring material to a recycling plant. You can see our on site collection trailer at our warehouse.
